Every store, one page
We pull the same product from every retailer that stocks it and line the prices up side by side.
7Compare is a price comparison engine for Indian online shopping. We take one product, find it at every store that sells it, and put the prices next to each other — along with the history that tells you whether today's price is any good.
For each product we hold every live listing we can find, one row per store, sorted cheapest first. Prices, images, ratings and stock come from the stores' own listings. Nothing is typed in by hand, and no store can pay to move up the table.
Indian retail has an inflated-MRP problem: a store lists a "was" price far above anything the product has ever sold for, so a 90% discount is really 20%. Where a store's MRP is far out of line with the actual selling price across the market, we mark that discount as untrustworthy and exclude it from the savings we quote. That is why our discount is sometimes smaller than the one printed on the store's own page.
Every product gets a score out of 100 that answers one question: is today a good day to buy this? It is built from four things — where today's price sits between the year's low and high, how far it is from the 90-day average, whether it is at or near its floor, and which direction it has been moving. The score always shows the sentence that produced it, so you can disagree with it.
Products we have been tracking long enough carry their real recorded price history. Where tracking started recently, the chart is modelled from the product's published MRP and the live spread across stores, and the page says so underneath. We would rather tell you the chart is an estimate than pretend a week of data is a year of it.

We pull the same product from every retailer that stocks it and line the prices up side by side.
A discount means nothing without the price before it. We keep the whole curve and show it to you.
When a store's "was" price is far above the usual selling price, we mark the discount as unreliable.
The buy score always names the number behind it, so you can disagree with it.
Links go straight to the retailer. We never take a payment or hold your card details.
The cheapest price is listed first. Commission never changes the order of a table.
Some links to stores carry an affiliate tag. If you buy after following one, the store may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing — the price is identical either way — and it has no effect on what appears on this site. The cheapest price is always listed first, whether or not it earns us anything, and stores that pay nothing at all sit in the same table as the ones that do.
We do not take payment for placement, we do not accept "sponsored" products in the trending lists, and we do not hide a cheaper price because a more profitable one exists.
